One of those appealing devices is the iPad, and it is starting to appear in guest rooms as a way to replace the usual printed guest directory. Restaurant reservations, menus, maps, conference room bookings and spa appointments can all be accessed through an iPad app specifically created for a particular brand of property.

Mobile guest printing from an iPad is also possible using the PrinterOn Mobile Printing Solution. A guest in their suite, or from any location, can print from their smartphone, laptop or iPad to a PrintSpot-enabled printer located at the front desk or business center of a hotel.
