IES Abroad is one of the nation’s oldest, largest, and most reputable study abroad providers. Based in Chicago, IES Abroad is a not-for-profit academic consortium that enrolls more than 5,500 students from 185 U.S. colleges and universities annually.
IES Abroad wanted to provide students with a way to print from anywhere off campus to network printers located at campuses in Santiago, Buenos Aires, Paris, Chicago and Dublin where they could enter a secure PIN and retrieve their homework when they arrived.
PrinterOn Enterprise for Education was chosen by IES Abroad to deliver the mobile printing solution for students. An on-premise solution, it was deployed directly on campus servers so that all processing and encryption of documents is done within the boundaries of IES Abroad’s secure network.
