With more and more business travelers relying on their smartphones and tablets, the need for mobile printing has increased significantly. The PrinterOn Mobile Printing Solution enables guests to print from anywhere such as the airport, a guestroom, lobby, cafe or taxi to a PrinterOn-enabled printer in the hotel’s business center.
PrinterOn is a flexible solution which offers several printing methods depending on device, location and preference.
- Email – Send or forward an email with attachment to the unique email address assigned to the printer
- Web – Guests upload documents for printing to a web printing portal using a URL assigned to the service
- Apps – Mobile printing apps are available for BlackBerry, iOS and Android devices
- Driver – Print from any Windows application with the PrintWhere® driver using the standard File>Print method
A release code is sent back to the user and they enter it on a keypad at the printer to release their documents which ensures security and privacy.
